Transmission Dharma
5:00 to 6:00pm on Zoom
Bodhi Lama Carrie Ure teaches this program for students who have a working understanding of the basic Buddhist principles – Present Moment Thinking, Time, Reincarnation, Karma, and Buddha Nature. These weekly teachings dive deeper into Buddhist principles and advanced topics. Requires permission to enter.
Buddhism for Modern Practitioners
6:00 to 7:00pm on Zoom
A weekly Dharma session focused on the fundamental principles of Mahayana Buddhism and teachings on the Four Nobles Truths. Each week, Bodhi Lama Carrie Ure teaches on one topic on the View, Meditation and Conduct of The Buddha Path. There are no prerequisites to attend the class. This series is especially good for those who are new to Buddhism or new to the Dzogchen Buddha Path Lineage. Everyone is welcome!

Learn Buddhist Fundamentals in an easy-to-understand format. Sangha Mitra Rodney Yoder is an experienced and compassionate teacher. No prior experience is required. Everyone is invited.

Join Dharma Acharya Tim Ros for a teaching on topics such as introductory Buddhist principles and The Four Noble Truths of the Enlightened.

The Portland Dharma Center regularly monitors updates by the CDC and the OHA regarding best practices for personal and public health during the pandemic. As Oregon begins to reopen, we will revisit our online-only teaching schedule and reopen accordingly.
We are currently developing a plan for reopening and how to teach in person at the Portland Dharma Center in SW Portland. Keep checking this site and following our monthly newsletter for updates on our reopening.
